Bio
Combining experiments with theory, I apply cutting-edge concepts from nonlinear dynamics and network science to understand how microbes evolve to interact with marine algal glycans. Through both theoretical modeling and laboratory experiments, I investigate how these interactions shape the cycling and sequestration of organic carbon in the ocean.
