Bio
I am interested in bacterial metabolism and physiology. During my graduate school, I studied the metabolism of Bacillus subtilis, and I am now expanding my research to Escherichia coli and marine bacteria. I am fascinated by the physiological diversity among bacterial species and by how their distinct metabolic strategies enable them to thrive in different ecological niches.
