Bio
I am a SNF Postdoctoral Fellow in Victoria Orphan’s lab at Caltech with a background in microbial ecology and mechanical engineering.
I am fascinated by the aggregation of diatoms that form the initial step of the marine carbon cycle. My work focuses on understanding how marine snow is formed under flow and how the initial conditions affect the carbon sequestration to the bottom of the ocean.
Research Interests
Marine snow, Ocean Carbon pump, Microscopy, Custom Experiment Building
