We welcome Dieter Baumgartner, who recently joined the Orphan Lab as a Postdoc, to the PriME community!
Many in PriME will already know Dieter from his time in the Stocker Lab, and we’re happy to see him now joining the PriME network — bringing his expertise to the West Coast.
Dieter’s work sits at the interface of microbiology, biophysics, and fluid dynamics, combining experiments and quantitative approaches to understand how microbial interactions and physical processes shape ecological dynamics.
With his interdisciplinary mindset and strong quantitative approach, we are excited to see the new ideas and collaborations that will emerge.
